How to create an Express campaign
The Express campaign type allows you to use the most effective settings and gets the campaign running in under 3 minutes. We highly recommend to create an express campaign as your first campaign with Adcash.
To get started, click "Create a new campaign" –> "Express campaign":
...or click here for a direct link.
Next, select an ad format:
Please note that the campaign can contain up to 20 creatives and you can use only one ad format per campaign.
After that, fill in the basic campaign details:
You can add macros to the URL. Select the device type that you are targeting (for additional options, switch to "Advanced selection").
To target specific countries/regions/cities (i.e. geos), choose the “Custom” option and insert your information:
Now, select the bid type and amount:
Choose a suitable payout type from CPM, CPC or CPA Target. Based on the geos and formats you have chosen, the system will suggest a bid to get sufficient traffic. Please do pay attention to the minimum bid notification (in red) which shows the lowest possible bid.
Next, select a budget for the campaign:
"Daily budget" limits the campaign's daily spending to a specified amount. The "spread budget" option equally distributes the traffic over 24h. If the box is left unticked, then the traffic will be sent without limitations and thus, the daily budget limit will most likely be reached too quickly.
"Limit campaign period" automatically starts and pauses campaign according to the setup and chosen dates.
"Custom" option allows to set up a total campaign budget (which can be increased on an as-needed basis).
Time to add the creative. The creative type depends on which campaign you chose during the first step of the campaign creation. The campaign can have either native, pop, banner or interstitial creatives.
Now, select your preferred targeting options:
For supply source – you can choose between direct Adcash traffic or partner traffic.
For zones – if you use
[zone] macros in the “landing page URL” then Adcash will send you a Zone ID, that you can use to blacklist certain traffic from your campaign.
The ad schedule allows to set up a time and days when the campaign should run.
Once your campaign is ready, click "Submit campaign".
Then your campaign will go through a validation process, that can take mere minutes during the working hours. More information on our validation process can be found here.
After validation, the campaign will be either run or paused, depending on the following settings inside the campaign:
Please note that you can activate your campaign at any time.
